There is nothing like going swimsuit shopping to make you not want to eat dessert ever again!!!

Hello my little cupcakes (mmmm cupcakes)! Those of you who do not have the body of Adriana Lima know what this experience is like know what I mean. The pain, the agony, the frustration, the sweat! And that's merely the THOUGHT of going swimsuit shopping! Yours truly underwent this unpleasant experience this past weekend all in the name of SPRING BREAK! It is due time to have a little (or a LOT) of fun in the sun and usually what that means is pools and beaches and usually what that means is bathing suits...ugh! OK, I am not complaining because I know the only person who has Adriana Lima's body is Adriana Lima! Perhaps in another life some of us will be so lucky to have a body like that, but for the moment we have to work with what we got; even if what we got is a lot!

I headed to Macy's and tried on way to many swimsuits, but in the end I did find a suit that fit and flattered. Now as a full figured hottie, I have to go the one-piece route and WAS NOT a fan of the tankinis or "swim dresses" as they are called. In my opinion, they do not look as youthful and are more popular among the mature women crowd. I am a girl who needs more support in the mid-section and surprisingly I found a Calvin Klein suit that was flattering and fit well! It is super chic in black and the detail in the chest area provides support as well as draws attention upward and away from any "trouble areas".

Alas, I kick myself for all of the indulging done over the long winter. All of the delicious comfort food and decadent desserts, so good! I am regretting any single morsel, but I do admit it is time to show some restraint if I want to get in shape and wear all of those cute dresses and skirts waiting to come out for the hot summer. It is never too late for anything and nothing is impossible! Who knows, with dedication and determination I may give Adriana a run for her money next swimsuit season! Until next time...
